Annual updates for a batch of Modelled Data have been done in the SEED Portal
About
Recently, we've updated a batch of Water Modelling- Modelled Data, including Without Development, Long-term average annual extraction limit (LTAAEL) and Annual Permitted Take (APT).
This is the first time the data has been updated annually. To ensure the reliability of this work, we developed a new script tool.
The new version of the modelled data covering 2022-2024 has been updated for 32 valleys.
These assets provide a time series of modelled daily flow rates in megalitres per day across the NSW river systems. Individual data sets are for each available river gauge data sets are attained via the best available at the time of publishing hydrologic model/s and over the historic climate period (usually from early to mid-1890s to a water year previous to the date of publishing).
Please extend this announcement to any interested users.

Data quality statement for Water Modelling-Modelled Data
Metadata Statement - Modelled Data - Applies to all included valley files
This document outlines quality control processes for Streamflow data. Our quality control process consists of high-level checks to confirm that: • each streamflow time series has been assigned to the correct gauge • there are no major anomalies in the modelled data that suggest otherwise. The quality control process described here does not verify whether model calibration for rainfall-runoff model and river system models used to generate streamflow at selected locations is accurate. We assess calibration accuracy at various stages of model development via other processes.
