Celebrating National Water Week 2025
About
The theme for the 2025 National Water Week (20-26 October) is Bring Water into Focus. Water is not just a resource; it is an invisible thread connecting everything in our lives.
By making our datasets available to the public and giving you the opportunity to discuss these in our Water Hub forum, we hope that together, we can highlight the value of water and the research that we undertake to inform our policies, strategies and plans.
So, who uses our data?
Researchers use our datasets to supplement their own observations, or they analyse our raw data to create new information. For example, the authors of the paper " Examining past and projecting future: an 800 year streamflow reconstruction of the Australian Murray river" used our ever-popular River Basin Maps and Water Monitoring Gauging Stations Details.
Join the conversation and let us know where you have used our data!
