The files show the approvals granted for the construction or extension of water treatment, water reuse and sewage works across NSW. Approval for these works is granted by the Minister for Water under section 60 of the Local Government Act and section 292 (1) (a) of the Water Management Act.
You can find out more about the department’s role in providing technical and other advice to local water utilities, assessing and approving projects and the ongoing inspection of this essential infrastructure on our web site.
